PeakMiner setup for Quantus

Last updated: 7 October 2026

Set up PeakMiner for Quantus on NVIDIA and AMD: the command line for Windows and Linux, TLS on port 1155 and a backup pool.

What PeakMiner is good for

PeakMiner supports Quantus (the quantus algorithm) on NVIDIA and AMD GPUs, on Windows and Linux, with a 2% dev fee on this coin and built-in pool failover. AMD support for Quantus arrived in version 2.17.3 and needs an RX 580 series card or newer. Download it only from its official GitHub releases page (linked on the How to Mine page).

The command line

The pattern (replace the region and wallet with your own; the How to Mine page fills them in automatically):

Windows
peakminer.exe --coin quantus --url de.quantus.herominers.com:1155 --user YOUR_QTC_ADDRESS.worker1
Linux
./peakminer --coin quantus --url de.quantus.herominers.com:1155 --user YOUR_QTC_ADDRESS.worker1

The name after the dot in the user value is your worker name, which is how the rig appears on your dashboard.

Encrypted connection

Write the URL as stratum+ssl://de.quantus.herominers.com:1155 for an encrypted connection. The port stays 1155: the pool serves plain TCP and TLS on the same port.

Backup pool

PeakMiner can switch to a backup pool by itself if the first one stops answering. Add a second HeroMiners region as the backup, using the option named in PeakMiner's own documentation, so a network hiccup never leaves your rig idle.
